It requires the ability to identify maintenance requirements and use appropriate methods and procedures to inspect, service and repair mechanical locks and locking systems.
This unit may form part of the licensing requirements for persons responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical locks and locking systems in those states and territories where these are regulated activities.
